We are delighted to have you visit our church website. It is my privilege to serve as the pastor of Trinity Baptist Church. Our heart-felt prayer is for people to know the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and become actively involved in a Bible-believing, Bible-preaching church that cares for them. We make no apology for strong preaching, sound doctrine, and devotion to the Lord Jesus Christ and His Word.
We would be privileged to have you visit our church where you will be counted as an honored guest, and where a warm welcome from our people awaits you!
In His Service,
-Dr. Vinton Williams, Pastor
Visiting any church for the first time can be intimidating, so we want to put you at ease. Your first visit to Trinity Baptist Church will be refreshing, friendly, and enjoyable for you and your family. You will experience inspiring music, helpful teaching and preaching, friendly people, and a place where you feel welcome and "at home"! Here are a few answers to some questions you might have...
WHAT CAN I EXPECT ON MY FIRST VISIT? You can expect a warm greeting at the door! Any usher or church member will gladly direct you to the auditorium or to any appropriate classroom for you or your children. Adults attend our worship services where there will be uplifting congregational singing and inspiring music from our choir, orchestra and vocalists. The music is always followed by a clear, helpful and challenging Bible message from our pastor, Dr. Vinton Williams. (All services are interpreted for the hearing impaired.)
WHAT ARE YOUR SERVICES LIKE? We are an independent, fundamental Baptist church. Our services include a friendly atmosphere, exciting Godly music (traditional, non-contemporary) and excellent preaching from the King James Bible.
WHERE DO I TAKE MY SMALL CHILDREN? At every service there are safe, clean, and highly staffed nursery workers for children three years old and under. You will be able to enjoy the services knowing that your children will be well cared for. Ask any usher or any church member where the nursery is located.
HOW SHOULD I DRESS? As a visitor, we are more concerned that you find a place where your life needs can be met through Jesus Christ. Yet we understand your need to feel comfortable when visiting a new church. You will find that our staff and church family dress modestly and in a more traditional “Sunday best” dress.
AM I EXPECTED TO PARTICIPATE IN THE OFFERING? No. We don't invite you to Trinity Baptist Church for your offering. We want our service to be a gift to you. We hope you will find in this place a warm family spirit, truth from God's Word, and a place where you can grow in God's grace. Please don't feel any obligation to participate in the offering as a guest. If you have any other questions just give us a call, or ask someone when you arrive. Whether you are new to the area and looking for a church home, or if it has been a long time since you have attended church, we hope your first visit to Trinity Baptist Church will be a blessing. We look forward to meeting you and your family personally.
WE HOPE TO SEE YOU THIS SUNDAY!
